Profile

Courtney brings energy, drive, and a relationship-first mindset to her role as an Executive Recruiter at Govig & Associates. With a strong background in sales and account management, she has built her career around creating meaningful partnerships, understanding client needs, and delivering results that support long-term success. Her ability to connect quickly with people, paired with her natural competitiveness and strong work ethic, makes her a trusted resource for both clients and candidates navigating important career decisions.

Before joining Govig, Courtney spent several years in account management and business development, where she worked closely with clients, distributors, and leadership teams to drive growth and strengthen partnerships. Her experience managing complex relationships, analyzing business performance, and presenting strategic solutions gave her a strong foundation for executive recruiting. She thrives in fast-paced environments and approaches every challenge with confidence, adaptability, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Outside of work, Courtney’s creativity and competitive spirit continue to shape who she is. A lifelong musician, she plays four instruments—guitar, violin, piano, and cello—and was a member of the Kansas City Philharmonic Orchestra. Her discipline and team-focused mindset were also evident in her time as a University of Arkansas IA Division National Champion in cheerleading. Deeply family-oriented, Courtney values time spent with loved ones, annual family vacations, and being the proud dog mom to her goldendoodle, Jett.

Her passion for giving back is equally important to her. She remains actively involved with Feed My Starving Children and Rosie’s House Music Academy for Children, where she supports both volunteer efforts and event coordination. Whether in her career or community, Courtney leads with heart, consistency, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
